Kymenlaakso seasonal vaccination sites close 29.11.
12.11.2024 | People at risk in the Kymenlaakso region are advised to get their corona and influenza vaccinations during November if they have not yet been vaccinated. More than 36 000 people in Kymenlaakso visited the seasonal vaccination centres this autumn.
The seasonal vaccination centres in Kymenlaakso will close for the current autumn and will be open until the last day on 29 November in Hamina Health Centre, Kotka Shopping Centre Pasaat and Kouvola Hallituskatu.
At the vaccination centres, it was possible to receive a booster dose of the coronary vaccine and a free influenza vaccine. The vaccines have been offered to all those at risk of coronavirus and influenza.
After November, the flu vaccine can be taken at the health centre during other visits, as long as there are enough vaccines available. In addition, it is still possible to make an appointment for a corona and flu vaccination at the Karhula and Katajaharju health centres during December. The Kymenlaakso Wellbeing Region will inform about the December corona and influenza vaccination arrangements at the end of November.
As of 11 November, just over 31,000 people in Kymenlaakso have received the autumn booster dose of the coronary vaccine and just over 36,000 have received the free influenza vaccine.
Both the corona and flu vaccination can be done with or without an appointment. Information on the target groups for seasonal vaccinations, the locations of the seasonal vaccination sites and instructions on how to get vaccinated can be found in the Kymenlaakso Wellbeing Region’s website.
