Exceptions to both library and library bus opening hours in November

29.10.2024 | Staff development day, public holiday and the library system version update will bring changes to the opening hours of Kotka’s libraries.

Main library, Karhula and Karhuvuori libraries

Friday 1.11. (staff development day)

  • Main Library is closed
  • Karhula Library is open for self-service from 7 to 21 and Karhuvuori Library from 7 to 16.

Saturday 2.11. (public holiday)

  • The main library is closed
  • Karhula and Karhuvuori libraries are open for self-service from 7.00 to 16.00

Monday 18.11. (library system version update)

  • All libraries and the kyyti.finna.fi online library are closed due to a version update of the library system. It is not possible to use the Karhula and Karhuvuori libraries
    self-service.

Tuesday 19.11. (library system update)

  • The main library is open from 12 to 20
  • Karhula library staff will be available from 12-19 and self-service will be available from 12-21
  • Karhuvuori library is staffed from 12-16 and self-service is available from 12-19

Library bus Ilona’s timetable for November

Due to the staffing situation, the library bus will only run morning tours at schools and kindergartens from 4 November to 29 November, except on Monday 18 November and Tuesday 19 November, when it will not run morning tours either.
