Aaltoja! Kotka light and sound festival
When the days are getting shorter and darker, what would be a better way to celebrate than with some breathtaking light and sound art pieces. Aaltoja! Valoa ja ääntä Kotkassa is a city festival focusing on just that – light and sound. The main goal is to bring some joy and festival feeling to those dark and cold October evenings. During the four days of the festival there are various light and sound art pieces and extra lighting around the city.

Dates and times
The festival runs from 15th to 18th of October 2025.
Location
The festival is held in the centre of Kotka (FIN) but there are also some venues outside the city centre. More information coming later in 2025.
