The spring joint application for higher education is now open

11.3.2025 | The spring joint application for higher education is open from March 11 to March 25.
At South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk), there are 2,081 available study places and 68 degree programs in both Bachelor’s (AMK) and Master’s (YAMK) education.

In Kotka, the new maritime simulation environments have been completed on the new campus. Engineering students in maritime ship technology and electrical power engineering, as well as maritime captain students, can now practice practical skills in exceptionally versatile and modern facilities. The simulators are used for training deck, engine, and electrical department personnel, maritime traffic control, emergency management and leadership, as well as cargo handling on ships and in ports. Additionally, the environments incorporate virtual reality and combined classroom and instructor spaces.
